The Stalker
This is the glamour shot I use for work when I'm speaking at a conference or something.
Hi There. I’m Nate - Welcome to my blog. I’m a pretty normal guy. I live with my wife and my dog in Charlotte, North Carolina. My hobbies include competitive eating and distance running. I’ve got a bunch of other ones too, but those two stand out. This isn’t my real job. I work for a software company. My company is based in Indianapolis, so I travel a lot and work from home. People ask me if I get lonely working from home, and I really don’t. I get to spend my days with Matt Lauer, Meredith Viera, Oprah, Ellen, Martha Stewart, and my daytime blog friends. I used to commute for two hours per day and then take MBA classes at night. Now I’m done with school and I work from home, so I’ve got way more time to devote to watching television and reading blogs about complete strangers.
Why Am I Doing This?
Good question. Kate started reading food blogs about a year ago. Coincidentally, I started making fun of her for reading food blogs around the same time. Then I realized that she wasn’t going to stop, so I figured I should probably start reading them too, just so we’d have something to talk about. So I started reading all of these blogs and looking at pictures of complete strangers eating food. Man, out of context that sounds really strange, doesn’t it? Anyway, I just started commenting to her on what I thought about the blogs and she would laugh. Then we met some new friends in Charlotte who liked blogs, and they laughed when I’d talk about blogs. So I figured I’d just start a blog where I talked about other blogs.

TheBlogStalker - That’s kind of creepy, right?
Yeah…sorry about that. I tried to come up with a less creepy name, but everything was either really cheesy or expensive. I also didn’t want to use anything that referenced food or food blogs, because I might branch out and start writing about other types of blogs. I promise I’m not a real stalker. I hope you aren’t, either.
Anything Else We Should Know?
Yeah. I have another blog here. That’s where I write about things other than blogs. I think it’s funny, but you can decide for yourself. Let’s see…what else…how about some fun facts:
-My Dad was my Sex Ed teacher in junior high. Because of this experience, I rarely become embarrassed.
-I was in a circus for seven years
-I have completed six marathons. I also once completed the century club by myself. I’m not sure which I would rate as my greatest accomplishment.
